Total Quality Management Concept at Guna
GUNA Strives for Excellent Processes and is proud to announce a new achievement in its effort towards: “Total Quality Management”.
The quality of the manufacturing process is augmented by another important aspect: “the process qualification of all the activities in which GUNA operates”.
While following cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) is GUNA’s daily task,
we are proud to announce our
ISO 9001:2000 certification in Quality Management Systems for:

Research & Development, Manufacturing,
Trading of Homeopathic Medicine, Dietary Supplements,
Cosmetics and Phytotherapeutic Products.
Design, Editing, Publishing and Trading of Publications.
Activities in the organization of events.
Regarding Manufacturing
We manufacture our products according to the highest quality standards. We adhere to the strictest of GMP requirements. Our manufacturing plants are continuously adapted to the most current state of technology. We apply risk management tools, in order to integrate quality systems into existing GMP regulation for promoting manufacturing and technological innovations.
GUNA and its associated partners are producing: injectable ampoules, creams, liquids, capsules, tablets, sprays, granules and globules.
Regarding Quality Assurance and Quality Control
GUNA’s daily Task and Challenge
The highest standards for quality, safety and environmental protection are decisive success factors for GUNA, as well as economic efficiency and customer orientation.
Our Group-wide Integrated Quality Management System ensures adherence to all relevant external regulations, and aids to the development of quality products and processes while attending to all aspects of health, safety and the environment.
QA provides analysis and evaluation on good quality practices during production, marketing and post-marketing activities.
Testing of all substances used
By means of uniform test methods, as cGMP requires, all starting materials as well as auxiliary substances, finished products and packaging materials, are tested by Quality Control with regard to purity, composition, expiring date, international/national standards, before released for use. This is significant when using ingredients of natural origin that need to be standardized in order to assure constant high quality.
The staff members of GUNA’s “Total Quality Management Concept” support GUNA world-wide in order to secure the high quality of GUNA. They also ensure that uniform standards and processes are adhered to and that all relevant external regulations are implemented and followed.
GUNA’s commitment to patients
Our personnel is aware of a dual responsibility. On the one hand, product quality must be geared toward the needs of patients and physicians. On the other, strict conformity with the requirements established by pharmaceutical laws and regulatory authorities must be taken into account.
This is why GUNA is applying daily the Total Quality Management Concept based on cGMP compliance and International Quality Management Systems confirmed and certified in ISO 9001 vision 2000.
This task entails not only a great deal of responsibility but also allows us the opportunity to contribute to GUNA's continued success in the future.
